So, We present to you some really effective ways of getting rid of tile and grout stains in your kitchen. An advice here, spray your tiles and grout with vinegar and wipe it off with a water soaked cloth to keep them clean. 


  1. Baking soda and vinegar

The combination of baking soda and vinegar is really a best friend to you. Mix baking soda and water to form a paste. Let it sit for a while and then scrub it with a brush. Make another solution of water and vinegar in equal parts and pour it over the paste. So, The fizzy reaction is what's best for cleaning all the dirt in grout lines and tile stains. 

  1. Hydrogen peroxide and baking soda 

Wear gloves! Take hydrogen peroxide and pour it directly on the stains. You can also try brushing. If the stain still remains, use a stronger version of this by adding baking soda to hydrogen peroxide. So, Apply this paste. Rub it, rinse it and Voila!

  1. Oxygenated bleach 

Mix 2 tablespoons of water into 2 cups of water. Pour this solution on the stains. Let it sit for 15 minutes. Then, use a nylon brush to scrub the grout lines for better cleaning.  So, At the end, rinse the floor with water. 

  1. Club soda and hot water 

Kitchen tiles are prone to receiving grease stains. For getting rid of these stains, sprinkle club soda on the tile and grout stains and pour hot water on it. Use a brush for scrubbing and rinse it all off when done. So, You can also use a normal detergent and water to clean these stains. 

  1. Lemon juice, vinegar and baking soda 

For stubborn stains prepare a paste with equal parts of lemon juice and vinegar and add baking soda to it. A fizzy reaction will occur. Use a brush to scrub the paste really well on the grout. Leave it to sit for an hour. So, Take a cloth dipped in hot water and wipe this off. 

  1. Hydrogen peroxide, baking soda and liquid dish wash

Wear gloves! Take 1/4th cup hydrogen peroxide, 3/4th cup baking soda and  tablespoon of a liquid dish wash. Apply this mixture on tiles and grout lines using a nylon brush. So, A bubbling reaction will occur. Let the mixture sit there for about 15 minutes. Rinse off the mixture with hot water. Mop the floor. 

  1. If nothing works, try steam cleaning

This might be an expensive option but it is a really effective one. Use the steam cleaner on all the tiles and grout to get rid of extremely stubborn stains. It softens and breaks down the stains and dirt. Use a brush if required. Rinse everything with warm water at the end. Mop the floor.
